Best Bunny Chow in Durban

Who makes the best bunny chow in Durban? This question has led to many competitions with the winners proudly displaying their trophies and awards in store. Here’s the problem, you can’t compare a bunny entered into a competition with the everyday, over the counter bunny. Competitors bring their A game to the competition, they buy the best meat and give it their best effort. The one aspect that bunny competitions can’t measure is consistency.

There’s nothing more disappointing than ordering a bunny when you’re famished and only get bones, subpar meat, a drizzle of gravy or the worst case scenario, a shallow bunny. We’ve all had at least one shallow bunny in our lifetime.

The secret to finding good indian cuisine

Do you want to know the secret to finding a good bunny? Follow the older Indian men aka Uncles, find out where they hang out and you’ll most likely find an oasis of Indian delights. If you’re not keen on stoking connoisseurs then might I suggest a place that has personally never failed to satisfy our taste buds.

TAB Springfield Durban (TSD) has the best bunny chow in Durban. Whether you’re buying takeaway or you’re going to eat at TSD, the bunny’s are good. However, with any bunny, eating it at the place will always be better than takeaway. I wouldn’t consider a tote to be a family friendly venue, although I have see one family eat here, I wouldn’t but that’s a personal preference. For those of you who would prefer not to enter the bar, you have the option to call beforehand and place your order. The waitress will bring your order to your car in the parking lot with the card machine for payment.

TSD is located in 51 Aloefield Crescent, Umgeni Business Park, Durban.  (Call: 031 579 5235)
